On June 21, 2018, the winners of the German Brand Award were honored for the third time at a festive gala at the German Historical Museum in Berlin. A special feature of the German Brand Award is that companies are nominated and honored regardless of their size.
More than 600 invited guests from business, culture and media accepted the exclusive invitation. With the German Brand Award, the German Design Council and the German Brand Institute recognize successful brands, consistent brand management and sustainable brand communication.
To our great pleasure, HUTSCHN was not only recognized as the winner of the German Brand Award 2018, but was also awarded the “Sustainable Brand of the Year 2018" prize across industries in the premium class “Excellence in Branding”. We are pleased about this and once again confirms our regional and sustainable production. Andreas and Matthias Bunsen, who are responsible for brand management at HUTSCHN, accepted the prize on behalf of the HUTSCHN team in Berlin.
Only companies that have been nominated for the German Brand Award 2018 by the German Brand Institute, its brand scouts and expert committees can participate in the competition.
The German Design Council is one of the world's leading competence centers for communication and knowledge transfer in the area of design. His circle of founders currently includes more than 300 companies. The German Design Council was founded in 1953 on the initiative of the German Bundestag to strengthen the design expertise of the German economy. His diverse activities pursue one goal: to communicate the sustainable increase in brand value through the strategic use of design.
The aim of the German Brand Institute is to strengthen the importance of the brand as a decisive success factor for companies in the national and international competitive environment. With the German Brand Award, the foundation awards a unique award for outstanding brand management. The German Brand Institute was initiated by the German Design Council and GMK Markenberatung. With the German Brand Monitor and the German Brand Institute, the German Design Council and GMK Markenberatung underline their commitment to the competitiveness of German brands.
