October 3 is not only German Unity Day, but is also dedicated to children and families: “Die Sendung mit der Maus” (WDR) called for the eighth nationwide Door Opener Day in 2018. There were also factual stories live between 10:00 and 17:00 in the HUTSCHN workshop in Bischofswiesen.
On October 3, the HUTSCHN workshop in 83483 Bischswiesen opened its doors for big and small children for the second time...
At various stations, we showed and explained to curious mouse fans how the hats are created and how the ropes are spliced by hand, for example.
On Door Opening Day, you could discover which individual parts a HUTSCHN consists of.
In addition, all visitors were then able to swing extensively on swings with particularly long ropes.
At HUTSCHN, we focus on transparency per se.
We are pleased if we were able to provide even more insight for one or the other mouse fan on door opening day.
The WDR team was on site for three days and also filmed a factual story about the construction of the swings. You can find the corresponding television report here in the link to WDR.
